Trying to piece together Tirney/Turney family of Argyle, Washington County, New York. Here are the bits and pieces? Do you ahve more pieces to this puzzle? Turney (in 1883/1884 he was of Oshawa, Ontario Province, Canada) 3. Mary Turney (born about 1853 in New York) 4. Emma J. Turney (in 1883/1884 she was of London, Ontario, canada) (William, Charles, and Emma were siblings and were alive in 1883/1884. These were the nephews and niece of William Hutchinson. Their motehr was a Hutchinson.) JAMES TIRNEY James Tirney [so born about 1800] died 3 December 1870, age 70 Boardman Cemetery, Washington County, New York (newyorkgravestones.org) Whom did James marry, if anyone? His wife coudl be a Hutchinson. HUGH TURNEY Hugh married Catharine. Catharine was born about 1800-1801. (1800 is from 1870 census; 1801 is form 1830 census.)
