If you still have that post card of Mark Thrash, I would be honored to have it and will provide my postal mail address. Thrash was a former slave at the Gordon-Lee Plantation, a portion of which became the Chickamauga Military Park at Fort Oglethorpe, GA a few miles south of Chattanooga. My family was from Chattanooga, and my father and grandfather enjoyed visiting the park and talking with Mark Thrash. Thrash was a former laborer at the park and was permitted to live in a cabin on park property until he died. Jerry Parker |
