Trying to find info on J. J. Thornton, CSA. He is buried at Sunset Historical Cemetery in Camilla GA next to Mattie J. Thornton Acree. He must be her Father. She was married in Thomasville GA so he may have been from Thomas County GA but was buried in Mitchell County GA. Can anyone find him on a roster of CSA veterans from Mitchell County GA or tell me what his given name was and when born/died and to whom married?
