James Thorn and Amos Thorn are two of several names on a joint Lower Canada Land Claim on 12 March 1792. Other names include Leonard Dean, John Dean, John Dean Jr., Seth Dean , Timothy Hastings, Isaac Colby, Philip Colby, John Perkins, Michael Dwyer, Jeremiah Dwyer, Ebenezer Frye, Jeremiah Sinclair, Samuel Sinclaire, John Sinclair, James Sinclair, Caleb Page and a few others.
