I am also looking for information on this person. I was told by my great grandmother than we were kin to him. My great grandmother's maiden name was Tannehill. She died in Nashville TN and Wilkins Tannehill is buried in the Old Nashville Cemetary. I know he married a woman named Elizabeth Dewees. They didnt seem to have any kids together. But there is another Tannehill that is buried behind him. And I was told that this was his illigetimate son. I have alot of info on Wilkins life as Mayor but he has been hard to trace otherwise.
