During the early to mid 1950's I lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee. and one of my dearest girlfriends was named Martha Patton, who I beleive was from Cookville or maybe Crossville, Tn. Martha's grandmother or perhaps g-grandmother was a Teeters. She had a brother named Kelly Patton.
