From an old article written about John Clinton Davis of Howard County Arkansas...which was certified by Joe R. Beane, Assessor of Howard Co., Ark. 7/6/1912 it was said that Lydia Teague daughter of Nimrod & Lydia Teague who lived near Ashville, Buncombe Co., N.C was his mother. This Lydia Teague b. 1820 was married to Levi Bailey Davis b. 1821 of Asheville NC - the couple were in the 1850 McMinn Co, TN and 1860 Census: Brewer, Pike,AR. Looking for more info on this Teague and Davis Family. Thanks in advance for your time.
