I am interested in finding any additional information about my ancestors, James and Sarah (McKasson) Taggart who married in 1805 in Salem County, New Jersey. James was born 26 August 1773 and Sarah was born 15 April 1785, both presumably in New Jersey. Any information on parents or siblings would be appreciated. The following is a list of their children: JAMES TAGGART born 16 February 1805 ELENLER TAGGART born 12 December 1807 JOHN P. TAGGART born 27 November 1808. DAVID TAGGART born 5 July 1811 MARY ANN TAGGART born 4 October 1813 CATHARINE TAGGART born 4 October 1816 GEORGE TAGGART born 2 April 1818 SARAH TAGGART 10 April 1819 MARGARET TAGGART born 8 November 1822 ELIZABETH TAGGART born 30 January 1824 ANDREW JACKSON TAGGART born 18 May 1829 The family moved to Ohio in the 1820s. The eldest son, James, eventually moved back to New Jersey and settled in Gloucester County. His children were: WILLIAM SAILER TAGGART born 18 November 1843 SARAH SAILER TAGGART born 12 October 1845 EDWARD TAGGART born 19 April 1848 JOSEPH S. TAGGART born 4 October 1850 FRANKLIN P.
