Good evening, Fred.
I too am researching Peter Andersson and Annika Olofsdotter.
And on Ancestry.com I recently asked for the translation of their marriage certificate. Bo answered my call!!
You mentioned you found Peter in the Household Examination Records. What did you find? I have a lead on Peter and his family. However, I can't confirm it.
In the records of 1751 to 1760 I find a one Peter Andersson, son of Anders Carlsdotter and Brita Persdotter in Gammalkroppa. This is the 1751-1754 record. However, he is listed as born in 1729. I then find this Peter in the 1755-1760 record, same parents, however his name is crossed out. I believe this is because he moved. No notes on where he moved to.
It is coincidental that our Peter Andersson is married at this time to Annika Olofsson and is in the Household Examination records at Hjulmakartorp living with Annika's parents and family. Peter is shown as born in 1724.
One thing that puzzles me is that Peter's marriage record shows him as being from Hornkullen. However, I can't find him at this farm just before his marriage to Annika.
Do you have other information that might link our Peter to the Peter who is the son of Anders Carlsdotter and Brita Persdotter in Gammalkroppa? If so, I would very much like to hear what you have.
Thank you in advance,
