In case any one isinterested, I have found the "missing link" that I had been searching for. I have seen a couple trees around that talk of a Selyvester Swango whos father was Charlie and gfather was Sylvester. It turns out that Selyvester Swango was my father-in-law's uncle. The line would go (Ending with my husband) William "The Immigrant" Swango... Abraham... James... Henry... Sylvester... Charlie... Willie Kenneth (brother of Selyvester)... Willie Sylvester... and finally Robert Swango. (Woo Hoo!!!) This took me over a year to track down and I am glad that I finally did!! :o) Elisabeth
