According to a marriage certificate in Manhattan New York September 6, 1914 Jeramiah TOOMEY batchelor married Bridget POWERS a widow. She ran a boarding house at 396 Greenwich Street NYC he was a laborer born in Co Kerry Ireland his parents are listed as Michael TOOMEY & Norah SULLIVAN. Witnesses William & Julie PATTEN. William is listed in a 1920 census as nephew (but to whom)The marriage took place at St Alphonsus West Broadway NY (no longer there, it slowly fell into the canal).
