Can anyone define a link between the Stuckey family, Samuel and Sussanah, Drapers of Langport, and the Pankhursts, probably originating from Cranbrook Kent (or just over the border in Sussex). An Edward Pankhurst born Cranbrook 1824 worked at Stuckey Drapers in 1851. A James Pankhurst, possibly Edward's brother and probably born Cranbrook about 1808, had a son born Timberscombe Somerset in 1841 who was baptised Arthur Stuckey Pankhurst. Thanks, Mike and Jane |
