I am replying to inquiries by Nicole - March 15, 1999 and the followup to her from Don Stoddard - December 28, 1999. I am descended from Robert and Lucy's son Edwin L. According to my records he was born 28 July 1861 in Broadalbin, NY and married Mary Beatty born 1862 in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Mayfield as a young girl. They had 10 children. My mother often talked about her uncle Elmer. Her mother was Josie Ann Stoddard married to Archer Lee Olmstead. One of the Stoddards was married to a native American woman and we are trying to find out who that was. If you have any info on that please email it to me.
