Charles enlisted age 17, 169th OVI Civil War. When he invented the machine he was living in Waterton, New York and moved to Philadelphia, Pa where he married and had 3 sons. He died 1919 age 75 Wayne, Pa. If anyone has more information on Joseph and Ann Stilwell, let me know. Thank you.
