I am trying to trace a family of Starkey's who were living at 80 Perry Street, New York in 1900. There was a mother and daughter both named Elizabeth. Elizabeth had an older brother Thomas. I believe the family emigrated to the USA in 1849 from Hindley, Lancashire, England. The family consisted of John Starkey born 1813 in Hindley, Lancashire, his wife Elizabeth (probably nee Kearsley) and their children - John born 1841, Alice born 1843 and Thomas born 1847 - all born in Hindley, Lancashire. Subsequently, John and Elizabeth had children William born 1850, Elizabeth born 1857 and Mary born 1859 all in New York, USA. I think the family lived on Bleeker Street/Avenue before moving round the corner to Perry Street. Any information greatly appreciated.
