Nathan Weathers born: 11 Nov 1780 died in War of 1812, was the son of Edmond Weathers and Mary Wrenn of Sussex County. I know Nancy Zells was the granddauther of Morris Zills whose will was probated in 1795 in Sussex Co., but I do not know which of his dead sons had been her father. Morris was married to Lucy Peebles, and it was Lucy who gave consent when Nancy Zills married Nathan Weathers. Nancy and Nathan had William E. Withers, Thomas W. Withers and Mary G. Withers/Weathers. Mary G. and her husband Scarborough Pentecost died in 1840 in Madison Co., TN. William E. Withers was appointed guardian of their children. Once the children were adults, William E. and his wife, children, and mother moved to Gonzales Co., TX. Regards, Marie Blocher |
