I have been looking into my great grandfather's history. His name was John Stadelman. I believe he left the Volga german area sometime in the 1870's. He and his family lived in Brazil for 11 years before coming to the US in 1892. They settled in Kansas. I am led to believe that he had at least one brother that he left behind but lost track of. I am wondering if anyone else has a similar background. Any help will be appreciated.
