Mr. Bird, My America was born Apr 10, 1820 in Ar. She died in Maud, Ok.on Apr 9, 1909 and was residing with her daughter at the time of her passing; she was 89 years old.I have also been told that she may have started out life as a Bearpaw and was adopted by a Spears family when her parents died young. I do not know if this is true or not, as I have never been able to document parents or siblings for her; although she supposedly had a sister named Nancy. She was married to my ggrt-grandfather, James Granville Craig and bore him 8 children. She was married 4 times, to James G. Craig,a James Phipps,a Cyrus Card, and a James Rose. She must have liked the name James!!! ANY info you may have connected to her would be greatly appreciated!!!! Kathie Craig-Brinkman
