Hello, my name is Belkis Rodriguez married now as Belkis Ledesma..My mother is Maria Mercedes Caba born to my Grandfather Jose Antonio Caba who was born in Janico Dom Rep on October 1918..to my great grnd father Agustin Caba & Diesminda (Mimina)Caba..some of their kids were: Santica, Sila, America, Altagracia(Tatica),Lila, Hipolito, Amable, Enrique, Jose(Pisilo) Caba & Jose Antonio Caba(my grnd fthr).. My grnd fthr migrated to USA in the 1960's and worked & lived in NY til the mid 80's then returned to Dom Rep..died March 1987 @ the age of 69.. He survives a wife: Casimira Almonte Caba age 93 in March & all his children, Elsa Caba, Isabel(Chavela) Caba, Jose Caba (Pito),Andres Caba(El Dun) & Maria M Caba(La Nena)...my grnd father also had many other children with mistresses in Dom Rep.. There are rumors that my grnd fthr Jose A Caba was born in Cuba..my great grnd fther Agustin Caba who's said to be born in Spain went to Dom Rep & wed a Native Dominican lady with African decendents then migrated to Cuba had all their children there then migrated back to Dominican Republic when my grnd fthr was only 4 yrs old...however to my knowledge his birth certificate states that he was born in Dom Rep...but I know that back then documents were easily altered to show whatever they wanted so that will remain a mystery...if anyone knows anything or is familiar to any of my relatives please post your message...
