I have been amazed at the difference in participation rates between this board and those dedicated to "Southern Southernists," if you will. Nobody has posted here for nearly two months, but some of those other boards get dozens of posts every day with some pretty good discussions. Many of the discussions started here have just kind of fallen flat.
Do they have more of a need to espouse their ideas than those with a Southern Unionist background? If the north had lost the Civil War, would this be different?
