Looking for ancestors of John Smedley, possibly born Staveley,Derbys.about 1746. He died in Eckington in 1799. Married Elizabeth Greaves in 1771, Staveley. Children were Charlotte, Philadelhia(yes!),Betty,John and George. My line is Betty Smedley who married Benjamin Cousins in Eckington in 1792.Does this lot look familiar?Thanks in advance. |
