Your John Slavens had a brothers, Charles and Stuart. They both had children that married Peters. See charts at bottom of webpage for exact names and dates. Please tell me more on your Ruckmans......Staunton, VA is going down Interstate 81 at intersect of 64. I have seen the Slavens Family lived near Monterey, Va(not far from Doe Hill, Higland County, VA)......even going into Pendleton Co., WV. They do a great job on those sites in Southern Ohio.
