I am looking for information on this same family. George and Martha Laughlin Singleton are my ggg grandparents. I descend from their son, John W. Singleton and wife, Aure Lambre. So far, we cannot locate George, Sr's parents. We believe that he migrated from S.C. or Virginia to Ky where his sons were born. The family later moved to Louisiana in the early 1800s where George, Sr. died in 1828. Nancy Singleton Williams
