You bet I know about Thomas Sickles -

b. 1749 - Stony Brook, New Jersey
m. 1777 - Mary Norwood (dau of Andrew Norwood)
d. 1811 - Herkimer Co, NY

I would love to know more if anyone can fill me in. I am a Norwood researcher - my 3rd gg is Andrew Sickles Norwood and I have looked into Thomas because clearly Andrew was named for him. I am trying to find out about his parents. I can find no information on them in the Mercer Co area (although Mercer didn't exist at that time, so researching in the other counties is necessary). Andrew Sickles was in New Brunswick, Middlesex, NJ.

Anyway - Thomas was assigned to the Albany area during the Rev War and stayed there - he and his wife had eleven children and he died in Herkimer Co in 1811. Exactly what kind of information are you looking for? Maybe I can help you.
