I have quite a bit of information of a David Shorey who was a first cousin
of Daniel Walker. My information states that Samuel Shorey was the
first member to settle in America. He came from England and settled in Kittery,
Main. He married on 4-29-1702 to Mary, daughter of Thomas and Mary(Thompson) Rhodes. They had
nine children. These men are descendents of a "Widow"Walker, nee Brown, who emigrated to America before
1640 with several children. I am trying to connect my line of
Walkers to this family and so far haven't had much luck , although
I have aquired a lot of information on this family.
If anyone has any knowledge of this lineage, please let me know.
