I know of a John (Carroll) Schiveley, b supposedly in PA. He died about 1974 or so in California. wife: Pearl (Hogan) son: Charles Schiveley, lived in CA, probably b Harrisburg, PA. Charles' wife: Midge (Murphy), who was b near Berkeley, CA. Pearl died abt 1990 or late 1980s. Midge's father: (Rollie)(Rawley) Murphy. She d. in CA. Charles' father might have been the one to leave when the boy was very young; didn't remember his dad. Mother died and he was raised by 'aunt Ida'. Reunited with his father years later. Sound familiar?
