Thank you so much for replying to me. I have been trying to track this down for about a year. Unfortunately, I do not have authorization on my computer to see your e-mail address, so I am posting mine, in the hope that you will e-mail me your address. I live near Tiffin (about 35 minutes from there) and I live even closer to Gibsonburg, so maybe I can finally track this down. Since this is not your line you may not be interested in my circumstantial evidence but if you are interested I would be happy to tell you. One other question, since you have extensive knowledge of the Shirkey clan, have you found other Shirkeys named John coming from Rockingham County in Virginia?
