My great-uncle, Charles Glover, married a Shifflett and lived in Bridgewater, Rockingham County, Virginia, but I don't find any reference to them on your website. She was Ollie May Shifflett, daughter of Samuel McDowell and Carrie Ann (Jones) Shifflett, and was born Oct. 16, 1886. Died Oct. 21, 1961. They married Dec. 26, 1907 and had four children. The rumor persists to today that my great-aunt was descended from an Indian. I'd be interested to know if this is true and also if she and Uncle Charlie are listed anywhere. Thanks, Denis Glover
