FELLOW RESEARCHERS : I am researching the SHELTON family that is listed in the 1900 Graves County , Tenn , census : Eldridge M. Shelton-husband-age 60 - b.1840 in TN Elizabeth Shelton-wife-age 58 - b.1842 in TN John R. Shelton-son-age 23- b. 1877 in TN Bessie C. Shelton-daughter-age 19- b.1880 in TN Ersatus P. Shelton-son-age 17- b. 1883 in TN I have reason to believe that John R. Shelton, b.1877 is my grandfather that I know nothing about, other than what I have traced thru records. If so, he married a Francis Hetzler and they had only one son, my father, John Fuller Shelton. 1910 Graves County , TN census shows : Eldridge M. Shelton - age 71 Elizabeth Shelton - age 68 John R. - age 34 - house painter Francis - age 34 - daughter-in-law Erastus P. - age 24 If anyone has a connection to this family, please let me know at mom1154@yahoo.com Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
