I am wondering if anyone has ever come across this name when researching those who served in the Seminole War in FL. SUPPOSEDLY (???) an Alexander MOODIE/Moody (descendant of Joshua R. MOODIE/Moody of Muirkirk, Ayrshire, Scotland, served in this war and Supposedly died, however no one seems to have proof of this and we have some Alexander Moody's floating around out there in the branches of our genealogy that fit this one very nicely, if he did not die during his service in this war that is. If anyone knows of such a person on any list or anything, I would be Most Greatful to learn of it. Thank you in advance. |
