My name is Gayle and I am a descendent of the Selmes from Brede, Sussex, England. I have been able to go back to Walter Selmes and his wife Sarah Paine. They were both born about 1680. Does anyone know anything about them. Their GG Grandson is James Selmes who married Maria Cook.I would love to hear from anyone who is a descendent of the Selmes I have mentioned. Regards Gayle
