I am looking for the parents of my ggg grandmother Francis Maria Sell Ames (I think she was called Fanny). She was born about 1807 in Kentucky in and died between 1870-1880 in Decatur County, Indiana. She was the wife of Aaron Holbrook Ames. They resided in Jefferson County, Indiana, where he was a minister in the Christian Church at Manville. Her name is given in genealogical records of Indiana as Francis M. Lanham; however the census shows Francis M. Sell Ames. Any information would be much appreciated. Jean Laster
