Norman (Robert, Jos, Shub., Robt) b.1734-5; died 3/1/1787; m.Sarah (d.1808) dau. of Jacob and Experience Reed, in Sud. Served in the Revilutionary War as Sergeant in Capt. Noah Miles' Co., Col. John Whitcomb's Reg't, 4/19/1775; Ensign in Capt. Francis Wilson's Co., Col. Danforth Keyes' Reg't, 1777;Lieut. in Capt. Eben. Belknap's Co., Col. Nath. Ward's Reg't., 7/25/1778 to 1/1/1779, from Westm. (or Rhode Island). He was a carpenter by trade and had a contract for part of the work on the secondmeeting house. During the Braising, "7/31/1787,he fell from the frame and received injuries which resulted in his death almost immediately." 1. Eunice, b. May 1755. 11.
