I don't know if this message will repeat one that I just finished and that disappeared without my sending it. Sheesh.
James, 1814-1889, was the son of Dr. Nathaniel P. Seaver, 1781-1834, who in turn was the son of Elijah, 1739-1767, who was the son of Nathaniel, 1709-1777, who was the son of Shubael, 1639-1729, who in turn was the first child of our common ancestor, Robert Seaver of Roxbury, an immigrant from England in 1634 b. England 1608, d. Roxbury 1683.
The listing for James is as follows:
1814-1889; m. Harriet Reynolds; 1. Gloversville, NY; ch: Diodama (1841), Nath. P. (1843-44), John Nelson (1845; m. Harriet McCord; 1.Aniwa, NY; their ch: Wm. J-1874, Geo. d-d young, Frank M.-1876, Harriet E.-1878, Abbie E.-1880, Susie B-1881), Elnathan H.-(1847, m (1st) Emma Day, 92d) Kate E. Bennet; carfpenter; 1.Norwood, NY; ch: Fred'k. J.-1870, Helen M.-1874), Geo.A. (1849; m. Alice Case; 1. Tigerton WI, ch: Frences I-1877-79, Sherman E.-1879, Mamie01881, Harry-1885, Geo.-1887), Alonzo W. (drowned Young), Kate Eda (1863; 1. Gloversville)
Hope this helps. There is lots about Robert I on the web, but the Jesse Seaver genealogy does not carry James' lineage forward any further than above. The genealogy itself is not published on the web to my knowledge.
