My Seaver genealogy was in the Yale U. 1910 class history for William's son, Dr. Jay Webber Seaver, but on a closer look, James must be William's father, and Daniel is James' father. Daniel moved from Petersham to Craftsbury, VT following Shay's Rebellion, and both James and William were Vermonters. At first reading I took James to be William's brother.
William's wife was Betsy Urie, daughter of John Urie who emigrated from Paisley, Scotland and "operated in Medway, MA the first power loom in this country for making carpets."
I looked at LDS records last night but could find nothing that agreed with what I have after Shubael.
