Bobbye, It may be SCULL, Gambier J., not Combier. Dr. John Gambier SCULL, Jr., was the son of John Gambier Scull, Sr., my 3rd g gfr. and Dorcus GRISSET his 2nd wife. I descend from his 1st wife, Mary COLVIN. John Gambier SCULL Sr. was a Lt. Col. Rev. Army, although it may have been a temporary promotion. John Gambier Scull, Sr., was also high Sheriff of Brunswick Co., NC at one time also. Isabella "Belle" SHAW m. Dr. John Gambier Scull, Jr., in 1834, Wilcox Co., AL.
