Morning Steve I have checked on Scotland's People, giving access to the official General Registrar of Scotland's Records of Births Marriages and Deaths. Including variants, there is only one George Callender Birth in the three year period, 1859 to 1861 inclusive. Pinning this down, it is actually George CallAnder, registered in Airth, Stirlingshire, in 1860, with a slight chance of it being late 1859. www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk If you go to that site, you will be able to VIEW the Scanned IMAGE of that original Birth Record; and download that IMAGE to your PC. You will have to register and purchase 30 Credits at UKŁ7 (about US$12).
