According to the information I have, this Adam Ramage was born in Scotland in 1772 and emigrated to the USA in 1795. He built wooden and iron hand printing presses in Philadelphia between 1800 and 1850, when he died. I'd like to find information about his parents, birthplace, marriage if any (none is mentioned in the records I've found), etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'm working on a biographical study with analysis and description of his products.
