Morning Mary The simplest way to find out where that Frank was born is for you to follow up on Scotland's People. I have just tried the "obvious" major areas, "County/City ...", eg Dunbarton(shire), Glasgow City, Lanarkshire, Ayrshire etc; but it does not show up in any of them. And even if located by this method, it would only be to Registration District level, not actual address and other details; and could take some hours to do so. If you follow up by simply finding the record at the country level, ie "All Districts", then view the result and (probably) order a copy of the record, you will get that information, including Time & Date of Birth, location, parents, their marriage date etc. Alex
