I am tracing the Hope family tree. Information learned is as follows: William Bryce Hope (my great great grandfather) (1851-1912) m. Eliza Anne Robertson in Jedburgh 1882. His father, Thomas Hope (1810-1876) m. Alcie Armstrong in Ancrum 1833. Alcie's parents were Thomas Armstrong of Chesters and Sarah Wilkinson. I would love to 'fill in the blanks" ie occupations, personal stories, movements around the world etc... Many thanks
