Looking for information on the following Schmidt's/ Schmitt's John Schmidt and Eva Marie (Dill) Schmitt arrived in America in 1851 from Germany. They had the following children: Elizabeth b Germany 1838 married unknown, married Frederick Fluegel. Died Staten Island, NY Peter b Germany 1840 married Matilda Unknown b 1842 NY both buried in Staten Island, NY. Margaretha b Mainz, Germany, 1848, married Emil Leyck, married Eugene Heymann, all buried Staten Island, NY. This is my ancestor George b 1860 Christian G. married 1886 NY to Catherine Unknown.
