Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the 1790 through 1840 Federal censuses only gives the names of heads of household that, in most cases, are males and widows. All other members of a household are enumerated only by sex and age bracket. There is an 1820 Federal census for Kershaw County but whether or not Ann is single or married, her name will never appear in this census. There are no Maxwells listed in this census of Kershaw County.
