Newspapers are kept on microfilm if you have the death date and place for Phillip L. Freeman see if you can find his obit. I can't find him on the 1870 census I bet his wife would be listed there. Jacob Bruce Freeman's death certificate should list mother's maiden name, where and when did he die?
