I recently visited the Pickens Co., S.C. Admin Office, and checked the records. There was not other information to be found. There are records still in the basement of the Pickens County Court House which have not been compiled. I did not have time to search through these. I did find a transcribed record in Greenville Library of Burt's son William Moore hireing lawyer Jeremiah Field in Feb 1837 to obtain his "equal part along with the legal heirs" of Burt's estate from the "sole executor Bailey Barton". So it appears the estate was still not settled. This document was proved and recorded Jun 1837.
