I,too, would like to know more about this location as I am searching for the resting place of my JENKINS relatives. They once (1801) lived on the "...South Fork of Beaverdam of Toogaloe River...".
Names: Francis (m) Jenkins b abt 1776, wife, Polly (LNU). Francis has a brother, James, and other siblings, all from the Old 96 time frame. His brother James married a daughter of a man named John Gibson.
Francis also held land on the Oconee Creek of the Little River and sold it to a man named John Sharp, Jr. This information was found in "Steven Butler's Family History Website: The Jenkins Family".
So if there is ANY connection between your interest in the gravesites, and mine as a search for my family, will you please share? Thanks so much, Cassandra
