Is there anyone who knows whether the film in the local (Walhalla & Anderson) libraries is complete for Oconee County, especially Center Township? I have two families which were in Center Township in 1860 (Pickens District) and 1880, but I can't find them anywhere in 1870!!! I've looked in nearby counties on both sides of the river but no luck. If the films for the 1870 census are complete, I might be forced to conclude that my BROCK and WHITFIELD ancestors were abducted by aliens while the census was being taken. Thanks in advance for any help---Allen
