He was found in Dekalb County Georgia Cenus records in 1830 / 1840 / 1850. He was a farmer b. abt.1801 he married ELIZABETH BUTLER in Pendleton South Carolina. They had the following children that I know of: Jeanette b. 1827 S.C. Joberry b. 1831 GA Edward b. 1834 GA William b. 1838 GA Benjamin b. 1844 GA John George Franklin b. 1847 GA.(my line) In Dekalb County it also list these Simms as head of households: William Simms pg 44 Jane Simms pg 34 Bejamin Simms pg 67 Could these be siblings of THORNTON SIMMS b. 1801 Newberry S. Carolina? Would like to find a connect or at least a clue as to his parents. Thank you in advance.
