Hello Lee County, We are seeking info on the following ancestors of Jeremiah Russell McLeod,b 1828 d 5-5-1860,who drowned while partying on a boat in Boykins Mill Pond,he was married to Alice Richardson b 1832(also need info on her ancestors as well)they had,Ellen b 1854 Daniel Owens b 5-13-1855 d 3-14-1932 Elizabeth Jane b 11-23-1856 d 10-18-1946 m William Marion Sanders, Alice,Jr b 1859 d 1933 we know that Jeremiah's mother was still living when he drowned and he had a brother as well,howeever we do not know anything about these folks or others in his ancestry but would very much like to know anything we can get.Jeremiah,Alice,Elizabeth Jane and Wm M Sanders are buried at the Old Rembert Church in Woodrow,Lee Cty ,SC. thank you in advance for your help and we would be glad to share info we might have also, Clark and Linda Ryder
