I would appreciate some correspondence with anyone familiar with Paul JENYS & John BAKER, partners in trade--perhaps Chehaw River? (Elizabeth JENYS GIBBS, fl 1752 as wife of John GIBBS; and, Henry BEDON, surviving trustee of her marriage settlement) I'd like to understand why Nathaniel BROUGHTON and Alexander BROUGHTON were executors along with executrix Charlotte IZARD; and, who was Henrietta JENYS as mentioned in the following online abstracts: http://167.7.33.100/onlinearchives/Thumbnails.aspx?recordId=95550 http://www.archivesindex.sc.gov/search/details.asp?index=173347&table=AllArchivalData&tableLook=MainIndex http://www.archivesindex.sc.gov/Archives/search/details.asp?index=158617&table=AllArchivalData&tableLook=MainIndex Were they located in Colleton Co SC? Perhaps, multiple locations in the province? Any comments will be greatly appreciated. |
