I have looked and looked for the family of William Agustus Wallace. I just came across the following information
1850 census
Anderson County- Western District
Sarah Wallace 38 years old
Wm. A. 14 years old
Morrel W. 12 years old
Elizabeth L. 11 years old
Morton W. 9 years old
Mary Jane 6 years old
in 1860 Anderson County 42 nd regiment
Sally Wallace ( maybe Sarach ) 47 years old
Merell Wallace 22 years old
Elizabeth Wallace21 years old
Morton 17 years old
Mary Wallace 15 years old
Sarah Jones 83 years old - Born in Georgia
MY GREATGRANDFATHER IF WILLIAM A. IN THE 1850 CENSUS. THERE IS STILL NO MENTION IN EITHER OF THESE OF THE FATHER OF THIS FAMILY. NO ONE IN OUR FAMILY HAD ANY RECORDS OF THIS. WILLIAM AGUSTUS WALLACE MARRIED SARAH BREAZEALE- DAUGHTER OF GRIFFIN AND SARAH. BREAZEALE. THEIR DAUGHTER, SARAH THEN FIRST MARRIED JOAB W. MAJOR AND HAD TWO CHILDREN BY HIM. SHE WAS MARRIED TO WILLIAM AGUSTUS BY 1867 when she wanted him to be guardian of Ida Tecoa, Laura Cannon Major minors under 21 years old and children of the said S. A. Wallace & Children of Joab W. Major ( taken from " A GENEALOGICAL COLLECTION OF S. C. WILLS BY MISS PAULINE YOUNG. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS BRICKWALL. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY RESPONSE.
